Aalto Space Association was founded by students seeking to create a dedicated platform for space-related interest and technical development. What began as a small, student-driven initiative quickly expanded through hands-on projects, industry collaboration, and community-building efforts. As the association grew in scope and ambition, its identity evolved to reflect a more structured, professional, and forward-looking organization, positioning ASA today as a leading student space community in Finland.

Events
Our events range from technical workshops, speaker sessions, and hackathons to excursions, social gatherings, and joint events with universities, companies, agencies, and other associations. By creating spaces for knowledge-sharing and collaboration, our events grow the Finnish space community and keep it connected.
Projects
Our projects are longer-term, team-driven efforts where students take on real engineering challenges. With dedicated teams working toward concrete goals, our projects turn curiosity into hands-on expertise and develop the next generation of space engineers.
